TRAINING COMMITTEE
ANNUAL MEETING REPORT 2009
The Training Committee continued its major focus on the skills checklists. It completed the following:

WYLDCAT/eLibrary
Periodical Linking and Serials Control
Reports
We believe that all subsystems now have a checklist. The committee also refined its templates for all checklists to follow. The committee continued to use pbWiki (http://wyldtrainingcommittee.pbwiki.com/) and Yugma.com.
We encourage all member libraries to share their training documents. We commend Carbon County Library System for taking the lead here.
The committee considered and rejected surveying participants in the Train the Trainer sessions some years ago about their willingness to train now. Instead it surveyed directors for a commitment to provide staff to prepare, implement, and evaluate training (What the directors said) .

The committee has lost members this year due to terms ending and resignations. It needs volunteers to serve.
